South Coffeehouse + Restaurant
South describes its style as “highbrow casual dining”—a place where friends gather over elevated comfort food and a perfectly crafted gin cocktail.
While the logo remained unchanged, the restaurant needed its menus, website, and packaging to reflect the same sophistication as its beautifully designed interior and match the experience of it’s guests.
The updated branding system relies on minimalist grids to convey refined simplicity and order. Stamp-style elements were introduced as playful callouts across menus, the website, and packaging, adding personality without clutter. Textures drawn directly from the restaurant’s building materials tied the identity back to the physical space, creating a cohesive brand experience that feels polished, contemporary, and true to place.
